Secure by Design (SbD) is changing the way in which technology systems are accredited. SbD moves to a continual assurance model, seeking to provide more support to Delivery Teams and Senior Responsible Owners (SROs), with clearer guidance aligned to project delivery timelines and operational decision making.
Excel AV qualified and cleared cyber specialists including Certified Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP©) and members of Chartered Institute of Information Security, ensure the solutions we design, deliver and support can be assured for the highest level of Government use. Project Teams are fully supported by our Delivery Team Security Leads (DTSLs, formally Security Assurance Coordinators) from the outset.
Working collaboratively with Capability Sponsors, SROs, and Cyber Security Assessors, Excel AV provide unparalleled assurance service and support through life. Our Delivery Team Security Lead ensure through life assurance is provided, adhering to strict Government security directives, risk assessment, chairing of Security Working Groups and obtaining the necessary authority for system usage in accordance with SbD.
